Alaska was ratified as a state in 1959. Before Alaska became a state, it was apart of Russia. President Diwght D Esienhower signed the Alaska Statehood Act, into the United States law on July 7,1958. Today Alaska is like the United Sates. It has schools,stores, a government and much more.

Alabama

Alabama was ratified as a state of the United States on Decemeber 14,1819. After the Indian War, the people of Alabama kicked out the Native American out of the state. Alabama declared its session in January 1861 and joined The Confedrate States of the United States of America. Guy Hunt's election in 1986 made the stae in a repulican.
